SALA Festival: The Flow of Their Ink
South Asian Literature and Art Festival (SALA) scheduled for Saturday and Sunday September 13-14th, 2025. A panel discussion with Thrity Umrigar and Tara Dorabji moderated by Sandhya Gajjar about women's issues through the lens of storytelling and Call Her Freedom. Book sales and signing to follow the panel.

Puente Project Equity Summit
A talk on connecting classrooms to community organizing for The Puente Project's 4th annual Equity Summit at the Asilomar Conference Grounds in Northern California, September 17-20. This is an intimate gathering of about 140 community college educators. This year’s theme, Building Communities of Care & Resistance, is an invitation to deepen our ties to community and root ourselves in lineages of liberatory education.
